MetalFox tool has been specially designed to make sheet metal flattening layout knowledge to everyone
MetalFox story...
Étienne Thépénier, main founder of MetalFox starts his career as sheet metal worker. In the field, he practiced sheet metal flattening layout and observed its limitations in terms of effectiveness (accuracy, implementation time, etc.) and reliability.
He therefore decided to create a tool that would be efficient, user-friendly and affordable.
To help him to achieve this, he gathered a multidisciplinary team of experts to create MetalFox, the first online sheet metal flattening layout software.
Today MetalFox helps sheet metal working and piping companies worldwide to produce their complex parts, whether in the workshop or on site.
In addition, MetalFox Education is also widely used in training centres and vocational schools.
It is a comprehensive teaching tool, which has won many awards and is widely recognized and used by teachers.
The founders of MetalFox
Etienne Thépénier
After being sheet metal worker in various companies in France and Germany, Étienne was successively industrial designer, project manager at Cern and R&D engineer.
In addition to manage and develop MetalFox, he currently teach his knowledge in vocational schools, adult education centres and engineering schools.
He masters sheet metal flattening layout and all manufacture constraints of metal work.
Colin Debras
Colin is engineer in mechanical engineering and doctor of materials science. He worked in the same R&D department as Étienne, where he developed predictive mathematical models of materials damage.
With Etienne, he also used artificial intelligence to address industrial issues.
